What is Hydroseeding?

Hydroseeding or Hydromulching is a procedure of applying grass seed, fertilizer, hydromulch, and water mixed into a liquefied application. Hydroseeding is great for lawns, re-vegetation, roadsides, soil stabilization, erosion control and much more.

With Hydroseeding the grass seed is suspended within a nutrient rich slurry mixture. When combined with water this triggers the germination cycle. The layer of mulch seals in the moisture, holds the soil in place, and acts as a mini greenhouse.

Hydroseeding is a cost effective way to have a new lawn. Hydroseeding can be less then ¼ of the cost to having sod installed, and you won’t have to worry if the sod will take or not. Within a few days your grass will start growing and in a few weeks you will have a beautiful lawn.
